Call for 2019 ITCSC Summer Research Program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The Institute of Theoretical Computer Science and Communications (ITCSC) is organizing a *** Summer Research Program from July 1, 2019 to August 23, 2019. ****

The purpose of this summer research program is to bring together interested undergraduate students majoring in computer science, communications, mathematics, or related areas, from all over the world and introduce them to research problems of interest to the various researchers of the institute. The students are then expected to work together (along with mentors) to try and solve a few of these problems, thus getting a first-hand research experience.

Apart from semi-structured first two weeks of introduction to various research areas and problems, the summer research program will also feature regular lectures, meetings, and a final presentation as well as a report.

*** Undergraduate students of computer science, electrical engineering, and related areas from universities all over the world are welcome to apply. ***

Invitations will be sent to a selected number of students based on the quality of the applications and budgetary considerations. Should you be invited, ITCSC will provide a lump-sum amount that would normally cover your airfare and local expenses.
